The natural volcanic reef right off the island creates ideal surfing conditions, and many beaches have surf schools and excellent instructors. Beaches in Tenerife are generally safe, and the popular sandy beaches are fully guarded and have excellent facilities. Aqualand Costa Adeje with fantastic dolphin shows, Siam Park with adrenaline-pumping water rides and Jungle Park with over 500 animals are located on the south coast of the island and are ideal for a day out with the whole family.
